Start an SDA relocation assessment

Send us the SDA dwelling details and the participant’s equipment list. We will check access, clearances and building requirements before quoting, so move day is not the first time anyone measures a doorway.

  • This tells us which coordinator should call you back.
  • Helpful details: your rough dates, property type and number of bedrooms, stairs or lift access, anything needing special handling, and who else needs to be kept informed (family, support coordinator, plan manager, agent).

What we will ask about an SDA move

  • The SDA dwelling, its access route and any building or body corporate requirements
  • Lift bookings, loading dock access and certificates of currency needed
  • Assistive technology and equipment, including anything to be reassembled and tested
  • Room clearances and where equipment needs to sit in the new dwelling
  • The provider contact for handover, and the date the dwelling is available
  • Who approves the quotation and how it should be invoiced
Funding — an honest answerWhether NDIS funding can contribute towards relocation costs depends on the participant’s plan and their individual circumstances. We do not tell people their move is funded. We provide an itemised quotation so the relevant lines can be discussed with a support coordinator, plan manager or the NDIA before anything is booked.
